List of Activities – Summer 2013
On behalf of the campground and the Entertainment Committee, here’s a quick update on what events will be taking place during the few summer months we share together.
Saturday, July 6th - Pot Luck Supper – Enjoy a fabulous meal at the annual pot luck dinner at the A-frame. Please come up to the office to inform the staff which delicious entrée you will be bringing that evening.
Saturday, July 6th - Movie Night – Movie to be determined. A-frame at 9:30pm – Bring your chairs down to the A-frame area and enjoy a family movie with your friends. All kids welcome but those under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday, July 13th - Take a Kid Fishing – For all those fishermen out there, bring your fishing partner out and compete in the friendly “Take a Kid Fishing” fish derby being held at the campers’ boat launch.
Saturday, July 20th - Family Fun Day – Activities for kids of all ages. All held at the A-frame and public beach area. Something for everyone. We will end the day with our annual fireworks display.
Saturday, July 27th - Live Band Night - Adults only. Come on out and listen to some good tunes and kick up a dancing storm.
Friday, August 2nd - Halloween In The Park – Get the kids dressed up (and the adults too) and do some serious trick-or-treating. Decorate your lot.
Friday, August 2nd - Movie Night – Movie to be determined. Halloween themed movie – A-frame at 9:30pm. Great way to finish off the trick-or-treating.
Sunday, August 4th - ATV Poker Run – For all those ATV owners out there, come on out and enjoy a fun day of riding and laughing with friends during our annual ride.
Saturday, August 10th - Kids’ Horseshoe Tournament – This will all depend on how many kids sign up so please encourage your child to enter. Make some new friends. Includes a pizza lunch.
Saturday, August 17th - Adult Horseshoe Tournament – Includes a barbeque lunch.
Saturday, August 24th - Karaoke Night – Come and belt out a few tunes and also the night for the draw for the $1,000.00 voucher towards a 2014 lot fee.
Hope to see you out at all of the events – the more the merrier.
Also, if anyone would like to volunteer their time at any of these events, the Entertainment Committee would certainly welcome the help. Come on up to the office and let us know.
